On 11 October 2025, a warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Yum Cha Lunch was held at the renowned Imperial China Restaurant in London, bringing together 11 alumnae and a former teacher for an afternoon of celebration, connection and shared memories.  The Mid-Autumn Festival, traditionally a time for reunion and gratitude, provided the perfect backdrop for this meaningful gathering.

As guests arrived, the elegant ambience of the restaurant set the tone for the event.  The alumnae, some of whom had not seen each other for years and some are new faces, quickly warmed up.  Laughter echoed around the table as conversations flowed effortlessly—from personal milestones and professional journeys to fond recollections of their time together in school.

The lunch featured a thoughtfully curated menu.  From delicate dim sum to signature dishes, with each course reflecting the richness of the season.  Sharing these treats not only honoured festival tradition but also underscored the spirit of togetherness that defined the event.

Beyond the meal itself, the gathering served as a reminder of the lasting bonds formed through shared experiences.  The alumnae took the opportunity to exchange updates, celebrate each other’s accomplishments, and discuss future opportunities for collaboration or community involvement.  Many expressed appreciation for the chance to reconnect face-to-face in an age where digital communication often replaces in-person interaction.

The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was warm, relaxed and filled with gratitude.  Group photos captured the smiles and camaraderie, preserving the moment for years to come.  In the end, this Mid-Autumn Yum Cha Lunch became more than just a festive meal—it was a celebration of friendship, heritage and the enduring connections that continue to unite the alumnae community.
